Description

Makoko is a rural settlement in Lagos having third part of it built on Lagos Lagoon not far from the Third Mainland bridge(Longest bridge in West Africa) and remaining section built on Land. The tour starts from here; Makoko Junction to be exact where your local tour guide meets with you. You have opportunity of riding the Local canoe, seeing the small lacal market of the settlement, feeling the community daily life and getting close to the third mainland bridge on a mechanically driven canoe. The tour progresses to the Lekki conservational center which is located on the Island part of Lagos. The Centre was founded by the Lagos state Government in partnership with Chevron company in 1990 to protect the bio diversity of the Mangrove forest area of Lagos facing the Atlantic ocean. Here, you will see the the Fauna and flora of the conserved centre as shown by a guide and also walk through the Canopy walk way of the conservation centre which transverse a section of the 78 hectare conservation centre. If time permits, we can also visit the Lekki market where the tour ends. Pick up and drop off back to your hotel is possible with the combo tour experience.
