Pearl Garden is the restaurant of choice for Lagos's growing Chinese comunity. Amid the cream and gold sorroundings, classics such as shark-fin soup with shredded chicken are served along with spicy Szecuan dishes and jazzy Catonese cuisine.
There's a strong seafood selection with shrimps in tomato sauce and rice , and deep fried crab with pepper salt. The menus have no prices, the house charges according to the unpredictable costs of ingredients. Always ask before hand. Less adventurous fixed-price meals are also available.
If you want more privacy from the loud crowds in the main hall then reserve your own private room for your group. It is one of the most popular spots for post-Church lunch, so make sure you book ahead.
