The clinic was opened in 1997 by Dr Olusegun A Osinubi a Consultant Otolaryngologist, and graduate of College of Medicine, University Of Ibadan. Dr Olusegun A Osinubi is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCSED) since February 1993.
Royal St Hospital is a general Ear Nose and Throat specialist adult and paediatric clinic. It has special interest in Rhinology and Otology, and offers operating surgeries when required at their allied hospitals in Lagos.
Royal St Hospital do hearing assessment and hearing aids provision for patients with hearing loss. They also have a charity caring for patients with hearing disability.
