Lagos, Nigeria: Nigerian Cooking Class and Market Visit
2 ReviewsEducational and culturally immersive cooking class for Nigerian cuisine/food with a visit and tour of the local market in Lagos Island for ingredients.
Dance is very vibrant in Nigeria and one of the best places to experience this energetic pastime is at the Krump Dance Studios.
They welcome all kinds of dancers and seek to refine every pupil into extraordinary dancers. Krump Studio will maximise your talents, regardless of expertise. The dance they are demonstrating is called Krumping, which is a variant of break dancing; with pantomimed battle and demonic possession. Krumping arose spontaneously sometime in the last decade in the neighbourhoods of Long Beach and throughout South Central Los Angeles. Over the past five years or so, a phenomenon that began with a handful of dancers has grown to include perhaps a thousand dancers and at least 80 crews. Krump invites the dancers to throw themselves into a cathartic frenzy to music that sounds like an orchestral pop rolled into one throbbing rhythm.
