The Hills of Benue
Nigeria
The Hills of Benue, near Gboko in Benue State, are one of the most interesting tourist spots in Nigeria and features some of the country's most beautiful nature and scenery.
Benue state shares a boundary with Cameroon and is located in Nigeria's middle belt. Industry in Benue is dominated by agriculture because of its fertile land; over 70% of Nigeria's soya beans are produced here.
The area is best known for it's collection of unique hills with some of the best known locations being the Bassa Hills, renowned for their spectacular scenery, the Swern Hills renowned for their history and the Ushongo Hills which are an ideal tourist destination because of the fantastic weather they enjoy.
